Today’s review is for Sandra Bunino and her debut Novella Marooned in Miami.First off, this novella is stunning, hot, and very very smutty. Which by theway are all the things that I like. I was very surprised as is often the casewith debut novels. Often authors haven’t had the experience to hone theircraft, however this one is simply wonderful. Her Jason is sexy and her Now I will let you know that this is afirst in a series, she has plans for another novella, starting up where thisone left off.

As a novella I know this review is short, I didn't want to give away too much. You're going to have to trust me on this one, and go pick it up, it's worth it.

Now dash off and buy this one. I give it 4 out of 5.

Book Review: Broken by Shiloh Walker

Broken by Shiloh Walker

The hardest battles are fought within

Summary:
Shattered Quinn Rafferty is working as a bounty hunter and bail bondsman in St. Louis when a new neighbor catches his eye. He’s tempted by her beauty—but he knows from experience that anyone desperate enough to live in his building is damaged goods. Besides, he has his own soul to mend before he can worry about anyone else.

DesperateSara Davis is on the run, but not for the usual reasons a woman goes on the lam. She’s not an abused wife, and she’s not a criminal. But she does have a plan for her future. And as much as she finds herself attracted to her gruff, tough neighbor, she can’t risk telling him the secrets she’s hiding. There’s just too much at stake.

Driven to desire… But Quinn must get closer to Sara when she turns out to be the target of his new missing persons case, and he discovers that there is something more complex and dangerous to her than he thought. Now, both Quinn and Sara will have to expose their true feelings—as well as their fragile hearts—if they hope their love will survive…

This book picks up a little bit after Fragile which was Luke Rafferty's story, Broken is all about Luke's twin brother Quinn Rafferty. Which I just have to say if I had a favorite of the two brothers, it would have to be Quinn. There's this broken quality to his character, that just makes you want to bring him into your arms an melt all the hurt away.

Now this one just grasps you, and keeps you guessing until the very end with twists and turns you never though were coming. Shiloh knows how to grab your heart and never let go.

You can buy it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble

I give it 5!

Freebie Friday

Due to my review yesterday, I thought perhaps you'd like a freebie by Shiloh Walker to see her writing style and see if you might like her work before you buy one of her books. I understand that She has two for you to choose from.

A Stroke of Dumb Luck by Shiloh Walker which is a sci-fi short story, or this holiday one A Present for Christmas

Book Review: Fragile by Shiloh Walker

Fragile by Shiloh Walker

Summary: Six years after trading in his combat gear for hospital scrubs, Luke Rafferty is faced with things just as heartbreaking as those on the battlefield. The abused children being brought in by the pretty redheaded social worker tug at his soul like nothing he's ever known.

For Devon Manning, being a social worker is a rewarding job, but also a constant reminder of her own troubled youth. Devon takes everything one day at a time-unable to form a relationship with anyone except the children she rescues.

When Luke meets Devon, he thinks he might have found what he's been looking for, but in order to get the life he wants, Luke has to break through Devon's emotional barriers and make her realize that his healing touch might be just the complication her life needs...

Brilliantly addictive, hard to put down, and you’ll read it in one afternoon.

Gripping and keeps you guessing to the end, very engrossing. I simply adored it. You'll love Luke.

Fragile has plenty of suspense, fear and a lot of plot twists. The characters are very detailed. Shiloh Walker is a wonderful storyteller and she is quickly becoming my favorite author.

I give it a 4 out of 5

Check back Monday when I review Broken, the next book in this series.
