Defector by Denysè Bridger

Genre: Thriller
SOR Defecter VBT BannerAndrew Dahle is a career spook, with no messy emotional ties to complicate his life. He’s worked with the best, and despite himself, he’s about to discover that he’s got friends he really didn’t know he wanted.

A straight-forward operation to grab a defector before he can leave the country with a top secret project goes wildly awry, and forces Andrew to choose between saving the life of a colleague’s son or nailing his target. To his great surprise, he saves the young man’s life, and wakes up in a hospital.

Grateful, Richard MacAvoy, a retired agent with his own elite contacts and players, steps in when Dahle is injured saving his son. Desperate to complete his mission, Andrew reluctantly accepts the help MacAvoy offers, and in the process just might learn that alone isn’t always the best way to work, and friends might be worth the vulnerability he’s always shunned.

SORM excerpt

Andrew felt the shadows releasing him, the sensation an abrupt, disturbing awareness that he knew he shouldn’t be experiencing. He trusted the instinctive alertness, though, and waited for the sound to give him a clear indication of where the danger was coming from. It only took a few minutes to locate the source, and Dahle’s eyes flew open just as the needle was being inserted into the I.V. tube that ran into his arm.

Andrew pulled the intravenous out as he forced his body into motion that it clearly objected to. The man hovering over his bed jumped back, his surprise giving Dahle his only chance to make a useful move.

Andrew threw himself off the bed and into the man next to it, taking them both down to the floor with a solid thud. He recovered quickly and landed a jarring blow to the man’s jaw. In the few seconds it took for the attacker to shake himself free of the pain, Dahle located the gun inside the other man’s coat. He pulled it free of the holster and pressed the barrel snugly between the man’s terrified eyes.

“Who sent you?” he demanded, the words little more than a rasp. He could feel the pulses of pain building with each breath, and he knew he’d probably torn apart whatever stitching the doctors had done earlier.

Dahle saw the refusal to answer before his assailant tried to offer him a response. He shifted his hold on the gun, then brought it down against the side of the man’s head, the action little more than a blur of smooth, practiced motion.

Andrew staggered to his feet and glanced around the room, suddenly expecting menace from every angle. He went to the locker and yanked his bloodstained clothes from the hangers. He dressed quickly, the gun within easy reach as he kept one eye on the door, then he slipped into position and waited. Instinct and experience told him there’d be more than one man sent for this kind of job. This one would have needed a lookout to warn him of possible interruptions by hospital staff.

He didn’t have to wait long for confirmation of his assessment. The door inched inward and Andrew banged the heavy metal panel back on the intruder, causing him to stumble. With a swiftness that stirred to life all the pain that he’d been fighting, Andrew reached for the wobbling figure and hauled him into the room. As the door swung shut on virtually silent hinges, Dahle slammed his captive against the wall and glared into the dazed features of the startled man.

He recovered a little more quickly than his partner and before Andrew could prevent it, he was struck soundly in the stomach. Gasping, Dahle almost passed out completely when the man’s fist came down hard on his injured shoulder, and he lost his grip on the gun he had been holding. He wheeled back and barely managed to dodge another punch aimed at his vulnerable shoulder. He spun on his heel, used the momentum, and landed a surprisingly solid kick to the second attacker’s midsection. He went down on his knees in front of Andrew and Dahle grabbed a handful of hair, then yanked back with all his strength. He heard the distinct crack of bones, then released the man to fall into a lifeless heap at his feet.

Glancing around him, Andrew knew the room would be crawling with people before too much longer. He needed to get out of the hospital, and quickly. Picking up the weapon he’d dropped minutes earlier, he ducked his head around the door. When he saw no one coming in the direction of his room, he slipped into the corridor and headed for the elevator.

He didn’t get to the end of the hall before he heard the sounds of commotion behind him. The bodies in his room must have been discovered a little more quickly than he was anticipating. He looked automatically toward the elevator and realized he wasn’t going to reach it, or the stairs, without being spotted. His entire body was alive with pain and he could feel the knots in his stomach twisting tighter as he fought down the agony-induced nausea. He stumbled into a wall as another wash of dizziness blurred his vision and threw off his balance. With an effort of sheer determination, Andrew reached for the door knob and almost fell into the room...

SORM About the Author

Canadian born and bred, and a lifelong dreamer, I began writing at an early age and can’t recall a time when I wasn’t creating in some artistic form. My life has had several on-going love affairs that shape much of what I write, the American West, Victorian England, cowboys, a passion for pirates, Greek Gods, and Ancient Egypt. The other endless love affairs in my life are Italia and all its magic, beauty, and dazzling culture, and a passion for Romania. Those loves spill into all aspects of my life.
In the past half dozen years, I’ve signed with over a dozen publishers, and have released books in all lengths and genres, and it’s something I hope to continue to do for many more years. A visit to my website will show the diversity of what is currently available, and the mixing of genres and styles that will be employed in many up-coming projects as well.

Hypnotized by Lacey Wolfe

Genre: New Adult Romance

SOR Hypnotized VBT BannerPaisley

I’m discovering who I am in this world. Venturing out on my own, away from my parents, and finding out what life is really all about. College isn’t as easy as I thought it would be, especially with my best friend Evan becoming someone I hardly recognize.
But then I met Gabe. He changed everything. My life will never be the same.

Gabe
I lived my life day to day, waiting for something great to happen.
Then she walked into the coffee house, with her long legs and killer smile. I had to know her. Nothing was going to stop me. She hypnotized me from the moment I laid eyes on her.
And after the first kiss, my fate was sealed to Paisley.

SORM excerpt

Kristy and I found ourselves a corner. I sipped a little more of my beer, finally getting the bottle a little more than halfway gone. Nursing the drink probably wasn’t the best idea, but as long as I kept this in my hand, I didn’t feel like such a loser. Maybe my friends were right. It was time to quit taking the easy route. I needed to have fun.

“Who is that hot guy? I think he’s checking you out.” Kristy poked my side.

I followed her gaze. Gabe.

“Go talk to him.” She pushed me.

 “I, uh, I already did.”

Her eyes lit up. “Seriously? Well, who is he?”

I shrugged. “I met him before work at a coffee shop. He stared at me the whole time. Then tonight, when he got here, he watched me like he is now.” I should feel self conscious, but I didn’t. “As I waited for you, he came and talked to me, but Evan chased him away. To be honest, he’s freaking me out a little.” Kind of, but he intrigued me so much more.

“He can’t keep his eyes off of you.”

She was right. Even as he spoke to the guy with him, his eyes never left me. My heart raced. I honestly didn’t know what to think. It wasn’t like I’d never dated before. I’d had a few boyfriends in high school, but nothing serious.

“Go talk to him,” Kristy pressed.

“Who?” Evan showed up at just the right time. Go figure.

 “No one,” I said quickly.

“She’s being silly. That guy.” Kristy pointed. Great, now he knew we were talking about him.

“She needs to stay away from him.” Evan put his arm around me again, only now he put a little more weight against me. If I didn’t think he’d fall, I’d have moved.

Kristy stared at Evan’s arm a moment then asked, “Why? He’s hot.”

“I don’t know. But my roommate says he’s trouble.”

Of course he was. He parked his bike wherever he wanted. “I need to use the restroom. Hold my drink.” I handed it to Kristy.

I wandered around the house. It was two stories, surely they had a restroom down here, but I didn’t find one. I headed up the creaky stairs. Sounds of groaning welcomed me at the top, making me giggle. Some people were having a lot of fun.

After using the restroom, I checked my appearance in the mirror. I turned by head back and forth. Maybe I did need to let my hair down. Tugging the elastic out, I let my long locks fall over my shoulder. I fluffed it with my fingers. The crease wasn’t so bad, and besides, more than half the people here were drunk. They weren’t going to care how my hair appeared.

I left the bathroom and stopped in my tracks. Leaning against the opposite wall was Gabe.

“Uh, hey again.” I grinned awkwardly.

 “Having a good time?”

 “I guess.”

A girl walked up wobbly, holding the wall the whole way. She pushed me out of the way, slamming the bathroom door. Now I stood close to him. Near enough I could touch him if I wanted.

“You sure that guy isn’t your boyfriend?”

 I nodded. “Positive.”

“He comes across like he is.” His blue eyes bore in to mine.

“Well, he isn’t. Why would I lie?”

 He shrugged. “Walk with me.”

I glanced around. We were upstairs, and there wasn’t anywhere to go. I knew once I went down stairs and Evan saw, he’d stop us. “It’s not a good idea.”

 “Why?”

I leaned closer to him, inhaling his intoxicating scent and said, “From what I hear, I should stay away from you.”

He chuckled. “Is that so? And what do you think?”

I think I should see where he wants to take me, but I didn’t say that. “I don’t know you.”

“Then get to know me. Come on. One little walk. What could go wrong?”

The bathroom door opened and the drunk girl reemerged. “Awesome party!”

I laughed and watched as she concentrated on walking. Poor girl. I hoped she made it down the stairs.

“So?” He raised an eyebrow.

It was tempting. Take a walk with him, talk, get to know him, and find out why everyone thought he was trouble. “I think I’m going to pass.”

The cutest smirk I’d ever seen appeared on his face. “Paisley, you’re really going to make me work, aren’t you?”

The sound of my name on his lips was like music. “How did you know my name?” That was stupid, he could’ve asked someone.

“From the coffee shop when you got a drink.”

 “Oh, yeah.”

He reached out and brushed a lock of hair from my face. My breath caught when his fingers lightly touched my skin, and I swear every nerve was on end.

“I like a good challenge.” He walked away, leaving me standing there, speechless.

Chara’s Song by Calida Ally

SOR Chara's Song VBT BannerGenre: Romance

Journalist, Chara Bennett leads an ordinary life until one night she agrees to meet with Latin sexy singing sensation, Feliciano Guerrero. They are papped outside his hotel by photographers who appear to know Chara. Feliciano is convinced she set him up in order to gain fame and fortune from cashing in on a kiss and tell story.

Three years after Feliciano publicly humiliates her she finds herself being catapulted into his world again against her will. Chara is forced to stay with him in his villa and despite both of their resolve to stay out of each other’s way, the explosive sexual chemistry which sparks between them, keeps drawing them together like a powerful magnet…

SORM excerpt

“What the hell!” He rasped dumping her suitcase onto the tiled floor and stepping further into the room. Characouldn’t move. “How the hell did you get in here?” He thundered coming to stand in front of her, towering over her slight frame.

“I… I should be asking you the same question!” She stammered backing up against the bed post, horror shooting down her spine.

“This is my mother’s house, I have every right to be here, where as you…”

“Your… your mother?” She whispered aghast.

“Yes, now answer my question, what the hell are you doing here?” He was merely inches away, his eyes boring into her like lasers. Sexual awareness glinted in his eyes briefly before they became shuttered.

“I was invited by your mother to write her autobiography.”

“Her autobiography? How did you manage to manipulate that?” He demanded icily.

“I didn’t manipulate anything! It was your mother’s idea! If I had known for one minute she had any connection with you, I would have turned down the job!” She flung at him, standing her ground.

“I find that hard to believe, a mercenary…”

“Don’t you dare call me that again!” She hissed, clenching her fists tightly.

He raised a dark eyebrow. “Again?”

“I remember what you said in the article…”

“So you read the article did you? Did the truth sting?” He said with an icy bite to his tone.

“The truth Mr Guerrero is that I wouldn’t have anything to do with you even if you were the last man on earth!” She threw at him furiously.

“Good because you are leaving as of now!” He said taking her by the arm and practically dragging her out of the room.

“Let go of me!” She hissed trying to free herself from his steely grasp.

“Feliciano!” Lucia stood in the doorway. “What are you doing?” She asked sharply.

“Showing Miss Bennett the door.” He looked murderous but spoke with an icy calm.

“Chara is a guest in my house.” Lucia said.

After a pause he thrust her from him. “I can’t believe you allowed a viper like Miss Bennett…”

“Enough! Feliciano, leave us alone for a minute please.” She ordered.

Feliciano walked over to Lucia. “I’d like a word with you mother when you’ve done.” He said through gritted teeth before striding away.

“I’m sorry, I apologize for my sons behavior towards you. Feliciano can be very hot tempered at times, it’s probably the Latin blood in him I think. I couldn’t find Paco so when Feliciano turned up I asked him to bring your case up to you.” Lucia said coming into the room and closing the door.

“Do you know about me and…” Chara asked in a barely audible whisper.

SORM About the Author
Hi, I'm Calida Ally an author and lover of anything romantic. I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I can vividly recall even as a youngster, feeling the thrill and the sheer joy of staging my own creative works with siblings!

At the age of twelve, the first grown up book I read was a novel by Nora Roberts. I remember hiding in my sisters room and not putting that book down until I'd finished it. From that moment I knew I wanted to be a real writer. I wanted to create characters and stories whom readers not only fell in love with but cared about too.

I have been writing proffessionally from the age of sixteen. Some of my works were published by our local library in a bid to get local authors noticed.

The career choice which I followed was journalism and had to put writing aside for a while but not for long. No career gave me the satisfaction, enjoyment or the thrill which I got from writing. So I picked up my pen and began to write again.

Although I have written screenplays and dabbled in writing sit-coms, I have found that my true passion lies in writing romantic novels. There are days when I can't wait to get up and start writing! I love the buzz of accompanying my charaters on whatever journey they take me on. If my characters move me emotionally then I am happy with what I'm writing but if they don't, then I will tweak whatever I have to until I am affected by them emotionally.

After trying for several years to get published I got my first break from a wonderful publishing company called Crimson Frost Books. Thanks to them, I can now say my debut novel is called, Chara's Song.

I will always be grateful to them for believing in me and my writing but most of all for making my dream come true.

I am a firm believer in going after your dream until you realise it. Even when at times your goal seems so out of reach, never give up.

SORM excerpt

A loud rustling in the leaves of the old oak tree by my window woke me. Spring had come early this year to Texas, leaving record-breaking heat in its wake. I’d left the window open to try to cool off my room in order to help me sleep better.Probably a wind picking up or a critter, I thought, providing myself an excuse not to have to get out of bed and investigate. I closed my eyes and began to slip off into dreamland once more.

Suddenly I felt a large, calloused hot hand cover my mouth so I couldn’t scream out. Its mate was already exploring my scantily clad body, roughly squeezing my breasts. He took his hand from my mouth and whispered hoarsely, “Don’t make a sound.”

My heart nearly jumped into my throat. “Clint, what are you doing here?”

“I couldn’t wait until I saw you tomorrow night. Here, touch me. I’m as hard as that tree I just climbed.”

I reached down to feel the enormous bulge that threatened to rip through the denim of his jeans. Mercifully, I unzipped Clint’s jeans, freeing his hot, swollen member as if I were freeing a genie from a bottle. And I only had one wish in mind for it to perform.

Sleep was now the furthest thing on my mind as Clint’s lips covered mine. It was a rough, demanding kiss, the kind that always drove me wild and left me wanting more. His cock prodded my hip as my heartbeat quickened in anticipation. I felt his hand slip under the flimsy oversized tee shirt I was wearing and capture one of my breasts, rubbing its nipple into a firm raisin. I stifled a moan.

As his lips left my own to make their way down my neck, his other hand covered my wet pussy. I was ready for him. He walked his fingers through my forest of tightly curled hair before finally inserting two of them. I closed my snatch around them and rubbed my clit up and down, sending tiny explosions throughout my body.

He removed his fingers and licked them dry before slipping on a condom. I could not keep my body still as I waited. It was times like this one I’d wished I was on the Pill already. Those few moments felt like an eternity before he slipped inside me, filling me completely. Together we began to move in our rehearsed dance of love, the tempo increasing as our orgasms approached. Ever since Clint introduced me to this unbelievable joy and turned me into a woman—his woman—I never truly knew what love was all about.

I hoped the movement of my bedsprings didn’t wake my father. Most likely he wasn’t even in his room and could be found zonked out in the den. The thought of what would happen if he found us fucking was something I couldn’t bear. Luckily it didn’t take us long before we both came. I couldn’t wait until we were married and didn’t have to sneak around like this. We’d be able to sleep together and wake in each other’s arms.

“You’d better go,” I urged him, fearful our luck would run out. Clint pulled out of me slowly and rolled off the condom. I watched him pull his clothes on that hard, lean body of his, making me hot again. I was getting excited all over again. He leaned over and kissed my breast. Then he kissed my mouth.

“See you tomorrow night,” he whispered.

“Be careful,” I said, walking over to the window with him.

“I love you, Bree Washburn.”

“I love you, too, Clint Anderson. Now get,” I said slapping his ass and kissing him one more time before he went out the window.

He wrapped his arm around a tree limb and waved as he began to descend.

SORM excerpt

Jamie's car rolled to a stop by the curb in front of her home. Mark hopped out and started undoing the chains that he’d attached to the undercarriage of her vehicle. She got out of the truck and stared at the dark front porch. It looked so vacant and unwelcoming.

"Don't drive it until you fill it with coolant." Mark gave the hood of her car a pat. "Or at least water."

"Okay, where do I put said coolant or water?"

In the glow of her security light, Mark gave her a grin that could be called nothing less than dashing. Crooked, with the adorable dimple that she remembered when he'd made a brief appearance at her son's college graduation party. He walked past, a little too close, and his body brushed hers. He smelled of clean wet earth. The black t-shirt he wore fit the play of toned muscle beneath it to perfection. Jamie licked her lips; she'd like to approach him like a popsicle. Lick him head to toe and back up again.

They'd seemed to have shared a moment of chemistry while driving back to her place. She grasped onto the way Mark had looked at her. The way a man looks at a woman he desperately wants to kiss. Jamie couldn't remember the last time she'd experienced such a feeling. It'd been startling and she'd panicked.

Mark reached inside and popped the hood before walking to the front of her car.

"Come over here."

His voice was low, gravelly, seductive, and she floated toward his command like a moth to a flame. She'd come anywhere, and anytime, with him. Bad porn music started to play in her head. Bom chica wow wow.

She squeezed her eyes shut. Good God, she would be in the middle of a messy divorce soon, what the hell was wrong with her?

"You'll want to put it in here." He pointed to a part of the engine that looked like a square plastic container.

Her head was swimming; lack of oxygen most likely. Her blood had rushed south to her naughty regions.

"Okay." Her voice squeaked, and she cleared her throat.

"You don't want to fill it to the top, her unit can't take that. Just put it to here."

Oh, come on! The double entendres were killing her.

She couldn't help but notice his long, strong fingers. Long fingers might mean a long…

"Uh-huh, great." She bit into her top lip until it stung.

"So, that should be it." He dropped the hood and brushed his hands together. "Do you need anything else, Mrs. Shultzer?" It was an open-ended question on his part that left Jamie with way too many answers.

David thought his time with Melissa would just be a one-night stand, but he can't get the beautiful redhead off his mind. He wants more. But she's human. When he abducts Melissa, David is in a race against time to locate her and save her life. Content Warning: contains graphic sex and explicit language

SORM excerpt

David got up from the bar and walked to the shadows so he could watch the beautiful redhead. He looked at her with a growing need to shelter her from the club. More importantly, what and who was in the club. He'd never felt this way before. What was it about this woman? She was human for gods' sake! Why did he feel this primal pull toward her?

He nearly smiled as she looked over her shoulder at the bar to find he was no longer there. At least he knew he wasn't the only one affected by what was between them. When she looked back to the man sitting at the table with her, David wanted it to be him that she was looking at. Was the guy her boyfriend? At the thought David felt a growl coming on…she was his.

His imagination ran wild as he started to picture his hands running through her shiny, wild red hair. How her head would tip up to look at him. Her mouth would part as her eyes closed, and he would lean over to have a taste of her neck. Slowly, his elongated fangs would draw softly over her pulse and she'd shudder, exposing her neck and giving him better access.

Giveaway: Unseasonal War by David J. Englund

Clark Jackson’s travels, for the first time, put him in touch with an intriguing species remarkably human-like. He becomes instantly fascinated with the Fronents and envious of their advanced technology. Striving to befriend them and learn more, his uncontrolled enthusiasm forsakes the use of appropriate caution and suspicion. Could their cold reception be a byproduct of their war with a vile species in this corner of the universe, or something else?

The magnificent splendor of an unexplored galaxy, new species to encounter and the adrenalin rush of space battle feed Clark’s awestruck hunger for exploration and adventure. Unfortunately, the more he learns the more he questions; including the wisdom of his entangled involvement in their war.

Meanwhile, back home in Des Moines, Iowa, Clark attempts to maintain an inconspicuous lifestyle to avoid attracting the attention of a certain relentless federal agency. His girlfriend’s own secret, however, could unravel it all.

**Even though the book is the second book in the series, it IS standalone

~Excerpt~
The entire bridge quaked with greater and greater intensity. Standing upright became increasingly difficult with each passing moment, even with the help of safety bars. A ship of this size was not meant to traverse a planet’s atmosphere.

“There she is!” A cadet pointed at a screen.

The enemy ship itself still wasn’t visible. However, flames burst up out of nowhere, surrounding a small blank area on the screen. Something was definitely breaking the atmosphere of the planet.

“Now! Pull out. Full speed ahead.”

The shaking quickly diminished. Two seconds later, the bridge was perfectly level and moving forward smoothly again.

“Now! Target those flames. Fire aft lasers. All engines stop.”

Clark concentrated on the view screens. Lasers connected twice as two explosions erupted amidst the flames. Crew members cheered. Captain Trind quickly put a stop to the celebration as he continued to stare at the screens and rattle off commands. The enemy vessel followed suit and broke out of the atmosphere back into orbit. It came out firing. Lasers once again impacted the ship in several locations.

“Fire! Keep firing! Target the smoke! We can see exactly where she is now. Hit her!”

The camera view displayed her approach. The smoking ship passed directly overhead, both ships trading fire, both taking hits. Clark could feel the deck tremble every time they were assaulted.

“All ahead one-half. Follow that smoke trail. Fire forward lasers.”

The entire ship jumped three feet as an explosion emanated from below decks, causing those standing to lose their footing. A few seconds passed. Several crew members shook their heads and struggled to stand. It took a few more seconds to regain composure. Clark felt the ship slow down.

“Sir . . . the engine room . . . the engine room is gone. Completely.”

Giveaway: A Baby for Easter by Noelle Adams

Alice Grantham lost her fiancĂ© and her job, so she’s had to come home to Willow Park to live with her parents. To recover some sense of independence and security, she’s cobbled together different part-time jobs, including one as assistant to the pastor of her hometown church. Nothing seems to be going right for her. Even Micah, the pastor’s brother and the first boy she ever loved, is standoffish with her now.

Micah has always been a prodigal son, but now he’s trying to put that lifestyle behind him. Then a five-month-old daughter he never knew existed is dropped on his doorstep, the result of one of his many one-night stands. He needs help from Alice to care for his daughter, but he can’t let himself hope for anything more from her than that. He can’t help but want it, though…

Excerpt One:

Now, however, Alice was regretting her random impulse to put on a skirt that morning, since she was on her knees in front of the bookshelves, putting the last of the commentaries back in place.

At least no one was around to see her undignified position, with her skirt pushed up to her thighs to give herself freedom to move.

“Daniel,” a voice came from outside the office. “Daniel!”

She recognized the voice, but he was in the office before she could move or pull down her skirt. She froze as she looked over her shoulder, befuddled by Micah’s sudden appearance.

He seemed equally startled to discover her on the floor, after his eyes scanned the room for his absent brother. “Oh,” he said, standing in the doorway.

It took her a minute to pull herself together, but when she did she managed to smile. “He went to the hospital to see Mrs. Cooper.”

“Oh.” Micah was such a self-assured man that it was strange to see him so stumped.

Then there was a different sound in the office. It took Alice a few seconds to even identify it. It was so unexpected that she was sure it wasn’t right.

It sounded like a baby whimpering.

Finally, her eyes drifted down to something Micah was holding. A baby carrier. A baby carrier.

“Is that a baby?” she asked, her voice hoarse with surprise.

He looked down at the carrier as if he’d forgotten he held it. “Yeah.”

She scrambled to her feet, rather clumsily, and hurried over to look at the baby as he set the carrier on Daniel’s desk, right on top of the printed copy of sermon notes for Sunday.

She peered into the carrier and saw the baby—maybe four or five months old—wearing a pink sleeper. Her eyes were blue and grumpy, and her whimpers were quickly turning louder.

Instinctively, Alice reached out for the girl and pulled her up to rest against her shoulder, patting her back in a comforting manner.

Alice had always liked kids. She’d never had baby-fever, but she certainly knew what to do when one was starting to cry.

“What are you doing with her?” she asked Micah, who’d been staring at the baby with that same glazed look of bewilderment.

“I…I don’t know.”

“Well, whose is she?” Surely this baby hadn’t dropped from the sky into the back of Micah’s truck.

His features twisted slightly—maybe anxiety, maybe disbelief. “That’s the thing. I think…I think she’s mine.”

~About the Author~

L.J. Sealey was born and raised in a little Welsh town by the sea. It rains a lot, so she often has a great excuse to sit at her writing desk and while away the hours at her laptop.

She still lives in N.Wales and when she’s not travelling around the country working with her husband – who is a professional singer – or singing backup vocals herself, she likes to read and watch her favourite TV shows which normally includes plenty of CSI, The Vampire Diaries and endless amounts of sitcoms. Being addicted to reading about vampires, demons, shifters and angels, she has always had a thing for all things paranormal and is a big sucker for impossible love stories. So it was inevitable that when she started writing herself she would mix the two together.
